Hello again! I’m Michelle Guillemard, creator of Health Writer Hub and your medical writing portfolio guide. Students have been asking me to create this course for years – and I’m now so excited to offer it!
I know that so many aspiring writers get confused and overwhelmed when it comes to creating a medical writing portfolio. I’m here to help you simplify the process and get it done – so you can get on with the important stuff: Finding work and getting paid.
In this course, I'll help you plan a high-quality writing portfolio that demonstrates your writing skills, gives you an edge and makes a professional first impression. Importantly, there's no one-size-fits-all approach to creating a writing portfolio. There are many different strategies, and we'll talk through various options so you can choose one that best suits your goals. It's all about helping writers like you create high-quality writing samples that you can use to get paid work.
If you want to kickstart your health & medical writing career with a strong portfolio of industry-leading content, this is the course is for you. I teach this course, and all my courses, through a combination of audio lectures (podcast style) and text resources. I also offer a range of video content, including bonus webinars and regular student interviews.
After experimenting with different combinations over the years and listening to student feedback, I am confident that delivering lectures in both audio AND text format is the most effective way for you to learn about freelance health writing.
